The House Appropriations Committee today released the draft fiscal year 2021 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies funding bill, which will be considered in subcommittee tomorrow. The bill funds the Departments of Commerce and Justice, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and other related agencies.

WASHINGTON — The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies today approved by voice vote its fiscal year 2021 bill. In total, the bill provides $250.9 billion in both discretionary and mandatory funding, an increase of $15.2 billion above the fiscal year 2020 enacted level and $2.3 billion above the President’s budget request.

WASHINGTON — The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies today approved by voice vote its fiscal year 2021 bill. Total discretionary funding in the legislation is $23.98 billion, an increase of $487 million above the FY 2020 enacted level.
