DeLauro Announces Appropriations Committee Roster for the 119th Congress
Committee Democrats Name Subcommittee Ranking Members and Full Committee Vice Ranking Member
WASHINGTON, DC – House Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03) today announced the Democratic rosters for the House Appropriations Committee’s 12 subcommittees in the 119th Congress, including the Subcommittee Ranking Members and full Committee Vice Ranking Member, elected by the Committee’s Democratic Members.
“Over the past two years, Appropriations Committee Democrats remained laser-focused on providing stability amid Republican chaos. We led the charge against Republican efforts to cut funding for the programs that ensure the safety and health of the American people, that keep teachers in classrooms, and ensure corporations and billionaires pay taxes. We reversed decades of underinvestment and lowered the cost of living for working families, helped communities most in need, and kept our nation and communities safe,” Ranking Member DeLauro said. “The distinguished members of the Appropriations Committee in the 119th Congress will be central to continuing these efforts and to protecting the programs and services that assist the American people, middle class families, and vulnerable communities. With the leadership of our Ranking Members and Vice Ranking Member and the expertise of our Committee Members, we are ready to get to work on behalf of the American people.”
