In advance of Floor consideration, the House Appropriations Committee released a division-by-division summary of the first minibus of fiscal year 2021 appropriations bills. The House is expected to consider the legislation, H.R. 7608, next week.
"House Democrats reject the Trump administration’s pandering to the fossil fuel industry at the expense of the environment and our public lands. Instead, we will promote solutions that preserve our landscapes, protect endangered species, and help prevent the worst impacts of climate change."
"Last year, House Democrats secured significant new investments in environmental protection and land conservation. For fiscal year 2021, this bill builds upon those successes to advance the priorities of American families – ensuring we have clean air and water to protect our children’s health, protecting our most special places and endangered species, and taking meaningful actions to address climate change."
