Following the ruling by a federal judge for the Eastern District of Virginia temporarily blocking the creation of President Trump’s corrupt $1.8 billion criminal payout scheme, House Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03) issued the following statement:
The Trump administration’s actions—and Congressional Republicans’ silence—laid the groundwork for the rapid spread of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo and surrounding countries.
House Appropriations Committee Republicans today advanced their fiscal year 2027 Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies funding bill out of subcommittee. While Americans continue to struggle with the high cost of living, the bill makes it more expensive for Americans to keep a roof over their heads, commute to work and school, and have a chance at homeownership.
