House Democrats, led by House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Nita M. Lowey (D-NY-17), today introduced legislation to provide humanitarian assistance for migrants at the southern border.
"Today we continue investing For the People with H.R. 3055, consisting of five fiscal year 2020 appropriations bills that offer a brighter future for American families and make American communities safer and stronger."
The package includes five FY 2020 spending bills: Commerce-Justice-Science, Agriculture-Rural Development-FDA, Interior-Environment, Military Construction-Veterans Affairs, and Transportation-Housing and Urban Development.
