Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL), Ranking Member of the Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee, delivered the following remarks at the Subcommittee's fiscal year 2024 Member Day hearing:
This subcommittee funds programs that impact every district in our country. Whether it flies, floats, or rolls or provides a family with a safe and stable roof over their heads, the programs in this bill create jobs, keep communities safe, and help advance our nation's economy.
