Chairman Price Statement at Member Day Hearing

Congressman David Price (D-NC), Chair of the Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee, delivered the following remarks at the Subcommittee's Member Day hearing:

The Transportation, Housing and Urban Development subcommittee funds programs that affect every city, county, and state in the country.  From building and repairing our nation’s affordable housing to fixing roads and bridges, the programs in this bill protect vulnerable populations and create jobs that further America’s infrastructure.  

Today, we will hear testimony from Members on the programs in this bill. We will use this information to guide the subcommittee as we assemble our Fiscal Year 2022 bill.
