Press Release

WASHINGTON — The House Appropriations Committee today approved allocations, known as 302(b)s, for its 12 subcommittees for fiscal year 2021 on a vote of 29 to 21.

The allocations for the 12 subcommittees total $1.298 trillion in discretionary funding, with significant increases allowing investments that help working families. The 302(b) subcommittee allocations are here.

“Higher allocations for all 12 subcommittees in fiscal year 2021 will allow us to make historic investments in the VA, support working families, rebuild our nation’s infrastructure, improve access to safe, affordable housing, and expand opportunities For the People,” said House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Nita M. Lowey. “These allocations uphold our commitments to America’s working families and will allow us to complete an orderly process in this Committee and on the Floor.”
