    Despite controlling the House, Senate, and presidency, the Republican majority has failed to fulfill its most basic responsibility - providing funding needed to keep the federal government serving American families. Now presiding over the second government shutdown in five years, it is time for the majority to work with Democrats to fulfill all our responsibilities.
